Short rules, for a simple site.
Nameplate has no accounts, no payments and no contracts: it is a public information dashboard. These terms exist to make three things clear: what the numbers are, what you may do with them, and what to expect from the service. Using the site means agreeing to this.

What the numbers are, and are not
- Everything the site publishes is an estimate derived from ONS public data, with assumptions stated on the methodology page, including the extrapolation between snapshots and the price assumption.
- The numbers are provided as is, with no warranty of accuracy, completeness or availability. The project’s commitment is to the transparency of the method, not to the infallibility of the result.
- Nothing here is advice, whether operational, commercial or investment. Decisions made on these numbers are the responsibility of whoever makes them; for critical use, go to the official ONS data.
What you may do with the content
- Use, cite and redistribute the published numbers and series, with attribution: cite Nameplate (nameplate.com.br) and ONS as the origin of the raw data. The full rule is at /data.
- Use the Nameplate name and symbol in an editorial context (a story, a citation, a class); the material is in the press kit. What you may not do: use the brand to suggest an endorsement or partnership that does not exist.
What to expect from the service
- The site is an applied research project in motion: pages change, numbers are recomputed twice a day, and the service may become unavailable without notice. There is no SLA, yet.
- When the paid API and alerts exist, they will carry their own terms, published before the first customer, with SLA, pricing and limits in writing.
If anything changes
